History

Evariste Systems was organised by Alex Balashov and began active operation as a consultancy in early 2008. Since then, the company has seen sustained growth and enjoys a positive reputation for deep expertise in the open-source VoIP community. Over time, we have shifted focus from consulting to a promising future as a full-service software vendor of our CSRP product. Nevertheless, we do entertain consulting engagements from time to time. We have also been called upon to conduct expert training courses on SIP protocol fundamentals and Kamailio.

Throughout our years in business, much of our work has focused on Kamailio, an open-source SIP proxy and SIP server project for high-performance applications. Our principal is a member-in-council of the Kamailio management board, a frequent contributor to the user community mailing lists, and the author of numerous patches and documentation revisions. More broadly, as an official ASIPTO partner, we continue to contribute to the promotion and commercial development of Kamailio in the North American market. We have participated in the Kamailio World conference in Berlin since its inception, and will continue to do so in the future.

Our customers have ranged from very small businesses on one end to publicly traded corporations and large public university systems on the other. In addition to our predominantly US-based customer base, Evariste has had customers in numerous countries Canada, Ireland (Republic), India, Bangladesh, Poland, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. In the US, our consulting services and software products have been used by very small businesses and by large CLECs (Competitive Local Exchange Carriers) terminating billions of minutes per month.
